About Say U Can Development

Beginning in early 2009, Kelly Byrne partnered with long time friend, and NBA basketball player, Anthony Tolliver, currently with the Detroit Pistons.
Together they formed Say You Can, LLC and began flipping single family homes to redesigning and renovating multi-family apartments and town homes into student housing. To date they have completed approximately 100 deals.
Currently, the primary focus of SayUCan is multi-family development and investments primarily in the senior and student segments.


Kelly graduated in 2007 from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud Minnesota with a bachelors in Business Marketing. Soon after, he spent a year working for the Matt Miller Companies as a project manager. During his time with the Matt Miller Companies he oversaw approximately 65 properties including single-family residential, multifamily residential, and commercial. He also served as project manager for the development of a 115-unit green student housing complex.
Kelly took ownership of his first partnership in 2009. He is currently the owner and developer of 9 companies that make real estate investments and he’s completed approximately 100 total projects
to date.
Anthony was one of four players from Kickapoo High School in
Springfield, MO to play Division I Basketball; the team ended his
senior year season of 2002-03 ranked 12 th by the USA Today and as
the Missouri Class 5A State Champions.
Following an amazing high school career, Anthony committed to Creighton University. He is now a 10 year veteran of the NBA and currently is a member of the Detroit Pistons. He is avidly involved in business off the court. Apart from his successful real estate developments and portfolio, he owns Active Faith, a Christian athletic apparel company and Lil Anglers, a kids fishing company that has exploded into the industry with purchase orders from Walmart, Target, Cabela’s, Bass Pro, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and many others. He is also a husband to Jessica and father to three children.
